There was a season in ministry when I thought:
If kids were having fun and learning the story, we were winning.
But then I watched students grow up —
and many didn’t carry their faith with them.
That shook me.
Because fun matters. Creativity matters.
But formation matters most.
Jesus didn’t say, “Entertain my lambs.”
He said, “Feed my lambs.”
And I realized —
I needed a better strategy to actually grow disciples, not just teach lessons.
That moment planted the seed for a new discipleship strategy that I’ll be sharing with you soon through a book I’m writing called “Feeding Faith: A Children’s Ministry Recipe for Rescuing a Lost Generation.”
It’s coming soon, so be on the lookout.
But first:
What’s something you wish you knew about discipling kids when you started?
Join the conversation on the GO! Curriculum Facebook page. Your insight might shape what’s coming.
