Squish, boing, chomp, splat! The only thing better than hearing these sounds is making them yourself! Telling a great story is exciting, but when you get to add your own noises, things get…well… (insert Kaboom sound) explosively fun! That’s exactly what kids will be doing during the “Live Out Loud” series. Using their mouths, bodies, and just about anything else they can find, kids will help make the early stories of Jesus’ life come alive with sound effects. The sounds of the story won’t be the only thing making noise, though. As kids hear about the wisdom, love and compassion that Jesus showed, they’ll learn that following his example will help them to “Live Out Loud” so that other people take notice and wonder who or what made them so extraordinary

The scope and sequence is designed to follow the Christian calendar so that the Christmas lessons land on Christmas and the Easter lessons land on Easter. The “Recommended Use Dates” indicate where the unit falls within the one-year curriculum calendar. You are able to use the unit at any time of the year that works best for you, but by following the “Recommended Use Dates,” you can easily transition into using the other GO! units to tell the remainder of the Big Bible Story. *** There will be glimpses of God’s salvation plan throughout the year, but there will be four lessons where that plan is communicated clearly and kids will have an opportunity to respond. Those lessons are denoted with *** next to the lesson title.
